CHECK EQUIPMENT

Our check equipment is composed by:

1 Metallographic Laboratory in order to determine the exact geometric conditions and perfect compacting of crimping strands, either in the copper contact area or in the insulation closure area.
The metallographic laboratory is composed by different manufacturing modules:
- Cutting Module: the crimp is cut vertically
- Lapping Module: the crimp is lapped and polished
- Chemical Cleaning Module: the metallographic section is cleaned in order to ensure a correct evaluation of the deformed cable
- Displaying Module: the metallographic section is examined under the microscope
- Evaluation and Reporting Module: the metallographic section is displayed by a high-resolution photographic device. The evaluation program records the parameters.

2 Dynamometers QMS2000 with PC, touch screen and crimp height meter. 4 kinds of tests are possible: breaking; pulling and maintaining; pulling and calibrated release; pulling, maintaining and calibrated release. Measurement range: 2.000/1.000/200 N with automated pre-selection by touch screen. Device for measuring, memorizing and evaluating height and width of a crimp. Measure unit made by a controller, a digital gauge or a micrometer with connecting cable and appropriate holder. Up to 48 different crimping can be stored.

1 Vision Makroptic Engineering which guarantees high-contrast and high-resolution images, high working distance and high depth of field. True colours can be displayed thanks to LED lightning.

1 Vision Engineering Linx LED Generation for visual inspection which allows the operator to have a three-dimensional image with excellent depth of field. Resolution and clearness are superior than a digital image displayed through a monitor.
